Senior year is supposed to be about college applications and first
loves. For Louisa Vetrone, everything shifts when her Poppa's car
accident reveals a troubling decline, threatening the stability she's
always known. Amidst this family crisis, Louisa's heart finds itself
pulled to Brent, a childhood friend whose reappearance stirs unexpected
feelings and challenges her carefully constructed world. In a year
marked by loss, change, and the rediscovery of old connections, Louisa
must navigate the complexities of love and family to uncover who she
truly is and where she belongs.
My Review: 5 STARS
I picked this up because the blurb and cover called to me. I was not ready for the rollercoaster, for the heart-wrenching scenes, for the way you want to fight for every character and find a way to solve their problems. I adored it. I laughed. I cried, and I read it all in one sitting until the wee hours because I had to know if Louisa would stop scowling and make it. This was an amazing read, and an author to watch for me, because she tore out my heart and made it whole again. Very much recommended!
